Born and raised in Southeastern Connecticut, Erin Burke has always appreciated the coastal charm and sense of community that make this corner of New England so special. With strong family ties to the area, she understands that home is more than just a place to live, it's where memories are made, traditions are shared, and life's most meaningful moments unfold.
Erin earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her master's degree from the University of New Haven. Her career has taken her through the worlds of hospitality, event sales, and management, including five years living in Manhattan, where she worked at an upscale private members club. A Certified Sommelier as well, Erin has always enjoyed the way great food, great wine, and conversation bring people together.
Throughout her twenties, Erin embraced every opportunity to travel, explore new places, and even live in London, Prague and Australia. Those adventures became some of her most valuable life experiences, teaching her independence, adaptability, and the importance of keeping an open mind. Her travels also gave her a deeper appreciation for the many different ways people live and what makes a place feel like home.
Despite her time in the City and her adventures around the world, Erin's heart has always been close to New England. An avid equestrian and lifelong animal lover, she spends much of her free time at the barn with her beloved rescued racehorse, Sonic. She also is a founding volunteer member with Humane Warriors, a project dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming abused and neglected horses, a cause particularly close to her heart. When she's not riding, Erin is busy planning her next adventure, getting lost in a good book, being a proud cat mom, and spending time with family and friends.
For Erin, some of life's most meaningful milestones are tied to the places we call home. Whether it's the excitement of a new beginning or the closing of a significant chapter, she considers it a privilege to be a part of making these moments happen.
